just bought a Helix 10 SI GPS from a guy on FB (got a STEAL for it) - all I am trying to do is have the trolling motor drive itself within specified contour depths, not going to use any of the sonar features. Will that unit work or no? I have a 2021 Minn Kota Trolling Motor Terrova 112/DI/Iplink-60" (model 1358837).

Hi I have a power drive V2 with GPS. Do I have an internal GPS sensor that I need to calibrate by doing the circles? I don't have the GPS hocky puck. When you look at my remote screen my bow and motor are offset when it's in the straight forward position, if that makes sense to you. Thanks

I have a Built in Mega DI Transducer on a Terrova. Anyone know the adapter number to connect the Ethernet cable to the MDI trolling motor transducer cable? It came with the ethernet to 5 pin adapter to connect to the Helix G4N but nothing for the transducer side. Or do I need to get an ethernet switch? Or is there an extension cable for the MDI extension cable to go to the 5 pin?

Did you have issues with the bolts on mounting bracket? I tried installing mine yesterday and the nuts were really tight and even snapped 2 of the studs

So I have a mega di transducer on my terrova does that mean I cannot use that transducer on my mega di + unit ?

thank you so much for this video - I searched and searched and found no concise info on this - although I was looking at connecting to a Garmin. The engine half of it to the Gateway was what we are having trouble finding info about. I have a question - that engine harness data cable - they come with THREE connections from what I see, but you are only using two? And I assume a junction box between the data cable and the Gateway is not needed because you are running only one engine?

When running one boat network, when deploying raptors will ultrex stop running? Same question other sequence, will raptors come up when reactivating trolling motor?

In the 1st 45 seconds you matter of factly stated info i needed. I was given a helix g3, not g3n. Was hoping to network it but seems all I can do with it is use it independently with its own xducer. The rest of video is great too. Thanks

It doesn't need to be Network Helix. I use a Helix 7 G4 linked into my Terrova. I use it for 2D and routes because the Minn kota Terrova needs map to follow One Boat APP waypoints and other features like routes. The only pain is uploading the information via memory card. It definitely wound be nice to connect wi-fi to update the information directly into Hummingbird, but it's still possible. I import and export information back and forth with my Garmin and minn kota app no problems. I just had to direct connect Hummingbird to follow my routes for trolling. This is my go around so I can use my Garmin and Minn kota.

I have a Humminbird HELIX 10 CHIRP MEGA SI GPS G4N Fish so it has a better transducer due to the side imaging. My questions is can I connect the Helix transducer instead of using the built in one that doesnt have side imaging?

I have used alot of Trolling motors over the last 30years & I am beyond impressed with this new Quest.Ive only had it a short time,so only time will tell...I just replaced my Garmin,NIT bad fir a first run but they have some work to do... Also the one boat network is amazing also..

I just picked up a used boat with various Humminbird Helix screens and an Ulterra with I-Pilot Link, so I'm just starting to figure it all out. But the VERY FIRST THING I noticed was the placement of the buttons on the Link remote. The non-Link remote has buttons on the bottom so you can see the screen above. Plus, any phone in texting mode has the buttons (keyboard) on the bottom, where your thumb naturally is when you hold it. I think buttons on the top was a bad choice.

So I have the ulterra with the built in MDI tranducer hooked to my Helix 7 G4N at the bow. But I want to run a MSI Helix 7 separately at the helm and link the 2 Helix units. Do I need the Ethernet switch to do this?

You can...IF they are bothe networking models, meaning G3N or G4N (must have the "N":) if yes, you just need one ethernet cable and two AS EC QDE adapters
