Great series on this 38 (t)! You do a really good job of explaining your processes. 💪🏻

What kind of paints&colours did you sprayed on the model?
@mattockmodels10 күн бұрын
I believe the green is a shade of olive drab, the gray is ocean or light gull gray. But both are heavily manipulated with oil paints.

Anybody know where to find this Camo wash paint he is using? "The Filter" from Sin Industries P419. Can't locate it anywhere online. Anybody know of something similar? I have painted mine with Valejo Desert Camo as a base.
@mattockmodels14 күн бұрын
It's actually from MIG, its an old bottle so it only says MIG on the back. if you search "MIG orange for desert camo" you should find it. Hope that helps!

What is the name of the robotic kit you used it seems ideal
@mattockmodels19 күн бұрын
I got it on amazon. It's called "think gozmos build your own robot kit for kids" your just basically harvesting out the remote and transponder from it so if you have one, or can find a better one you can use that too. I was just trying to show a simple way to get started. Have fun, hope that helps.

Really great work👌🏻 What did you mean when you said 3d printed? Filament or a resin printer with liquid resin? What is more common in scale modeling and printing such fine detailed parts like windows, roof tiles,…, a resin printer or a filament printer?
@mattockmodelsАй бұрын
Resin 100% better for scale models. much less prep work. but considerably more toxic to work with.

They're a combination of MENG, Tamiya and 3D printed stowage. The kits are all labeled as U.S. modern. Hope that helps.

I've only just found your channel after looking for lessons on multiole colour camos, your French tank diorama was fantasticly helpful on that front. No fair using your 3D printer. Few of us have those. I learned from your scratch building work, but...
@mattockmodels3 ай бұрын
The printers are mostly just faster, especially for KZbin. Almost everything that I design can be scratch built by hand. The biggest benefit of the printers is duplication. Also the printers have come down in price considerably and some maker spaces will let you use them to print.

Nice one 🎉 For the trench it’s globally what I should have to do on my diorama (you can see it on my channel): more variants of woods and not a pre build plastic one. I think I will make it again in the future. Again good job!
