My husband works from home part of the time (Mon/Fri). So I am debating turning our formal living dining into the homeschool room. It would give him a closed door and us so much space 😍

My only son was born on my bday, on my 60th bday I watch him graduate on our bdays from college, then married. I still have those moments. I love my ME time with him. So- those times never stop. Keep on enjoying you will always need those moments. Moms don’t stop being MOMS! Just because sons are growing up. lol I can never turn the Mom off when it comes to my precious buddy.

In my state, they require the children to be in homeschool sessions during the exact hours that they would be in public school. It’s ridiculous. I haven’t started doing it yet but I’m looking for a way around this.

I wish I could homeschool. I decided to send my oldest to school because my oldest isn't motivated to want to learn when I try to teach her. Also these kids don't give me a minute to myself either. I'm hoping I can homeschool again when my children turn 10 or 11.

Hi! I find the concept of homeschooling fascinating and I think its great (as someone in the public school system, you are making a VERY good choice) but I do want to ask what you'll be doing way down the line when they're in home high school and the possibility of AP classes comes up. These would be especially valuable if they show interest in college, but they would definitely be hard to teach at home (unless you have good background knowledge in the subjects taught). This is also for my future information because you know my kids ain't gonna be doing public school. Thank you!!!

Amm.. my youngest daughter waking up at 5:30-6:30 am. Oldest son go to sleep around 9 pm. And I need my time after everyone is asleep. What time I should wake up? 🧐🤪

If you are going to sleep at 10, so you can get up early, how does that work with your husband who gets up later? I really want to do this, but my husband also gets up later and so he stays up later, too, and it's hard for me to go to sleep while he's still up and in the bedroom with the lights on.

This is my first year homeschooling my 4 kiddos. I would love some recommendations on science & history curriculums for 1st and 2nd grade We are using the good and the beautiful for math and ELA I’m praying I get the hang of this 😅 You veteran homeschool moms are seriously hero’s! I admire you all so very much. Edit: looking for a simple history & science this year (books preferably) since we do have some online courses for those subjects but limited screen time is very important to me. Thanks 🙏
