I like how they kept the shaft door as decoration. Btw do you know if Joh. Holtz made escalators? I remember escalators in Solna Centrum, Hallunda & Norsborg from 1974-75 made by a hamburg-based company with a similar name like this.
@PostTower18 күн бұрын
@SummerADDE_Elevators imfornas far as I remember, Joh Holtz was a company from Bremen. Can it be that you mean Rheinstahl-Eggers-Kehrhahn instead? They were big in escalator business in the mid to late 1960s. They Name however disappeared in favor for R. STAHL, at least with elevators

@Windhund2718 күн бұрын
@eurovator427318 күн бұрын
@eurovator427318 күн бұрын
@Aufzugfreak17 күн бұрын
@eurovator427317 күн бұрын

The fixtures looks like they come from KINDS (Dunno the actual name of these fixtures.) - They were common generic fixtures in Sweden in the 90's and 00's and some sort of a copycat of the KONE M buttons.
@PostTower21 күн бұрын
@SummerADDE_Elevators These buttons were common for Schmitt and Sohn elevators from the late 90s until the mid 2000s. Pressing them feels similar to Kone M. Kronenberg also had a button series like it, although I can't surely say if the ones built by Schmitt and Sohn are actually Kronenberg or their own.

the two floors should be called E and 1R.
@PostTowerАй бұрын
@SamSitar that sort of floor numbering is unusual in Germany. "R" is rarely used as "ramp," which could be the loading bay of a shopping centre. If there are buildings with half floors, they sometimes name the floors 1A and 1B, or they are just counted up normally. In the case of this elevator, it only opens at one side of each floor, so a 1R floor numbering wouldn't add any information.
