One of the greatest horns of all time. So eerie! I like hearing a raised letter too, but I don't think they make nearly the same "out of my way" statement as a classic K5H.

I cannot fathom the amount of stupidity and impatience someone must have to be so desperate to cross the tracks before a train arrives. I swear, all it takes is a minute or two to let the train pass, people! Is it too much for you to grasp that!?

Whoa! Two EMD BL-2's! Didn't know there were still others in operation. Kentucky Railway Museum in New Have, KY has an ex-Monon BL-2 that's been running their excursions since 1990. I volunteered there a few seasons, and got to help run the old Monon twice. That was special. And the Monon still has its single note tugboat-sounding Leslie chime on the nose. There are a few videos below. kzbin.info?search_query=kentucky+railway+museum+monon+bl-2 Thanks for putting this up.

Thanks for posting this footage. The, 'Iowa Pacific' Coaches were especially intriguing. I looked-up 'IP Railroad' and 'Holdings', but not too sure of their present day status.

Hi, that was good to watch (and hear) I especially liked the Executive SD70MACs. It is the very first time I have seen footage of 3 of these units together on the same train. These Locos are one of my favourite prototypes and livery. Also, nice to see the NICTD, the two Leasers and the CSS as well. Two NS Hi-Hoods as Train Locos was a good catch, not just being used as extra Power units. Plenty of EMDs around, at that time. I'm going to watch 2015 Lost Footage next. Thank you for posting.

(I know this videos old but,) It’s funny cause CSX 7703 was carrying NS 8454 around, and now is carrying NS 8336 around. It’s sad that PRLX owns most of the Dash 8’s now.
