Was searching black autistic poets and found this. I am one myself, and feel relieved to see different people like me tackling the disability in their own way.

Omg This brought me to tears! My daughter is autistic and she's 17 and this is her. I spend so many days and hours and moments trying to understand everything she wants. As a mom I have to always be available to hear every detail to who she is trying to become. I could go on and on but THANK YOU so much for giving my daughter a voice with this piece...My GOD!

*THIS IS.* This is..... WOW. I just want to thank you. I can't explain, in words (because I'm not very good at it) how this made me feel. It's like I've found my voice inside of an other person. I feel as if I wasn't so speechless, I would express something like those words in this poem..... 😢 THANK YOU!!! YOU ARE AN AMAZING ARTIST!!!!! Just out-STANDING. I wish I could translate this poem into my family's native language so they could hear it and understand it..... understand ME. ♡

yep. i tell people all the time that we (all levels of spectrumites) still know what's going on. that we're varying degrees of trapped inside our bodies and to some degree our minds.
