another thing i wouldve emphasized more on would be barricading certain kapkan trap doorways, for some reason when attackers have to break down a barricade before they can enter a doorway, they completely forget that kapkan traps exist

Another crazy tip that really has helped me a ton as a 1.8kd diamond. Most common people will do the same set up over and over. Once you have gotten a kill or hit some people with single traps, don't be scared to switch it up a little. Move them around in spots they didn't hit them at. Constantly keeping them on nerve for traps at the same time you are wasting time while also getting some free picks and clean ups with some easy flanks and roams.
