I rode the first Husaberg arrived in Italy at Vertemati workshop. It was a piece of wood. Who made Husaberg a racing machine were the Vertematis brothers. The swedish engineers were to conservative and without race DNA. Vertematis were more creatives and 10 years ahead. It is hard to see this story without mentioning the Vertematis brothers.

If only they would produce a 500 two stroke machine again. I say the 1984 495 was the best open class bike they ever made.

I worked in a husaberg dealership in 97, loved this brand. It was all so exotic ...having Joel smets helped too

Unfortunately Husaberg didnt have the necessary finances to keep going Have been to the factory once, in February 1994 to collect my new bike, travelled with the Importor in our country cheers from me in Norway . Now, both the factory and brand is gone and the very kind and supportive Importor past away a few years ago...😔

I'm 14 and my dad raced a 1991 250 dxc, the thing is a beast, in great condition to this day, and I ripped it through the woods, wanted to get some history on it and this promotion is amazing

Im 14 and my uncle crashed his mx 250 1991 20+ year ago, it has been standing stil but after some reperations its running like a beast! Can't wait till my parents let me ride it

This was awesome! I rode a 91 300 e/xc back in 1994-1996, and none other than Kevin Hines joined me and my buddies on a few trail rides... Not even joking! Hines was riding his Honda CRE at that time though.
