I love mine, but I just noticed a few of the leaves are dry and 1 fell off, so I got on here to see if I could get an idea why. The soil is not dry but not damp but I did add a little bit of water to see if that would help

I just received my first coffee plant yesterday

Piles IS a dark mystery, isn't it? Do remember that how you like your interior climate effects your plants as well. Forced air heat will dry up your plants right quick. I've got one of these that I'm still getting to know and I think I'm probably going to cloche it until we stop running the heater because, no matter the humidity or how I water it, its leaves still dry up at the tips and about half the little buds that pop up seem to fail. I'm thinking that where I keep it, though great for most of my other green babies, is not appropriate for my Dark Mystery or for my Pilea Involucrata (Pilea Depressa absolutely loves it though.) Thanks for the video and best of luck (to us all) on keeping these guys happy and healthy.

Just an fyi. Only go up 1 - 1 1/2” bigger. Otherwise it will hold more water than it needs and cause root rot.

I keep my Lil baby next to my coffee maker on the counter corner! The window in the kitchen is bright enough for her to get the indirect/medium light required 🥰 I got her at the beginning of winter from Nebraska to Alaska haha learned plants can get jet lag so I made sure to minimally water and waited as long as I could to repot because I didn't want her going into shock 😅 but since this summer I've been watering a Lil earlier and she's gotten such a growth spurt 🤯 I loved seeing your baby snake plant, it's the first one I've seen that's anywhere close to mines size and I can't wait to see mine get as big as yours 🥳
