Yeah, I think add like lots of shades of red for the flower part and the skull keep it simple grey or dark brown.

do you think it is really necessary to show us your tatoos, your microphone or your "talking hands" to distract our attention, instead focussing in presenting the topic by voice and letting us see the actions and the resulting transformations? I do not blame you, I'm just asking. You are not the only one doing it, it seems to be a trend. In my opinion this is not helping the knowledge transfer.

Thanks for your opinion and yes I do feel it is necessary to do so and I will keep doing it in my videos. There is a reason that many people do it, it’s been proven to break up the monotony of a single front on shot and it gives the viewer a better overall experience and honestly just looks nicer than one long boring front on shot. Why use a reference layer: explains what it does and why. Why use a clipping mask; explains what it does and why. How is it that other content creators can't succinctly do this but you can. I cant even get my uni professors to explain this stuff as easily as you can. Thankyou for taking the time to create this video.

I really liked procreate, but it is missing some core features that are really valuable, specially for some art types, such as anime or manga. The one that I wish most is vector art. Being unable to transform or modify lineart without it becoming blurry

i have a question. if i wanted to colour in something from google so i saved the google image and then put it on procreate. how would i color that in? cuz i always do another layer and put it under that one, but it doesnt work due to the google images white background.

Tool palette doesn't work in Procreate but it does work in Freeform and Notes I believe...?

It was in a brush pack from a company called ‘Tattoo Smart’ but I’m struggling to remember the what the pack was called, possible the Traditional Pack, they have tons of great ones though

okay but not supporting vector graphics means that, if you're a graphic designer, that you're going to need multiple apps, because now you're going to have to bit trace it and make corrections to that. if you're doing graphic design everything you make has to be able to be scaled, you need to be able to change color palletes quickly, and you have to be able to send it to other people and they need to be able to do the same thing. it's not a positive that he can't do vector graphics it's just fine that it can't because it's more for illustration anyway, And the features that it has in that regard are really good. it's not a predatory subscription. affinity designer is a one-time purchase that does vectors. I think I'm going to try clip studio though. It seems like it sort of does everything, But apparently the complaint is that the app is incredibly inefficient now because it has so many extensions that you can't turn off. so we will see

The specifications of your iPad (the chip and the amount of storage) will help determine how many available layers you will have available on your canvas. I did the same settings with my M2 iPad Pro and got about half the available layers compared to my new M4 iPad Pro

I just can’t seem to draw in procreate. My digital art looks so much better when I use infinite painter. But I love procreate interface and how you’re able to put your artwork into different folders.

A way to practice line art is to draw a circle, then try to draw an identical circle over it, this helps with a cleaner look and confidence. Other than that it looks really good

Keep in mind that this piece I was going for a specific sketch look and I achieved that, I’ve been a professional artist for almost 20 years and can do super sharp line work in my sleep but that was not the purpose of this drawing, please keep these things in mind in the future when asking people to draw circles and practice more which can come across as somewhat disrespectful, thanks anyway for the comment 🙏🏻

It's really beautiful I'm no where near a professional but if you're going for realism for the skull you can try looking at references of the side view around the teeth and the nose cavity. I think it can help the overall shape but I still think it's beautiful💜
