The small cit in the corner on the left is not good enough it's too small always be mindful of how you set put the bathroom small cuts are poor always strive for the maximum amount of tile then ot looks like you know how to do it

Perhaps he has discussed the setting out with the customer, given them a few options, and because it's their bathroom and they are paying for him to tile it, he is considering their opinion, and not just dictating to them what "is deemed to be correct". I always discuss scenarios with my customers, as I have In the past tiled to what is "deemed to be correct" only for the customer to question what has been done. It is always wise to discuss with the customer what they would prefer. In the main, they then say your the professional, I'm happy for you to decide. He clearly enjoys his work, and is doing a neat and tidy job.

Have you used those bucket savers? It’s a silicone lining for the buckets so when you mix up you can leave the last bit to go dry and it slips out so easy and saves you having to clean up the bucket at the end of the day. Just search bucket liners or bucket savers 👍

nice bro jobs looks smart can you do a video on how to set out / where to start tiling in a whole room, basically a video showing how you know/where to put your setting out lines and working out where you will start tiling in various different room shapes. I finished my diploma a few years ago but wasn't able to go straight into tiling due to family reasons but now i want to get into it but feel that bit i have forgot slightly, as we only practised for 2 years in a square room please mate would help me loads as i can't find nothing detailed online about various room shapes and how to set up. thanks

43 years tiling here. Thanks for the tip on replacing the orange clips with the blue ones. My top tip is to get an X-Lock grinder and an X-Lock 14mm drill bit adapter for drilling holes in porcelain. With that, it's so easy to switch from grinding to drilling just by pulling the X-Lock release lever and snapping on the drill bit adapter. You'll need a couple of 6 inch adjustable spanners to change out the drill bits from the adapter because X-Lock grinders don't have spindle locks, but you won't need to carry a drill. Using a grinder to drill is much easier, they have more power than the average drill, and you can drill without the need of a guide because the bit won't wander as you start drilling. I use the same setup to drill soft ceramic as well. Let me know if my description makes sense, and if it doesn't, I'll make a video.

Great video Jack, i like the in depth videos of a day in the life of a tiler, setting out, how to cut awkward shapes, fitting tile trims, around windows, etc. You can fast forward bits of just laying tiles and just detail bits that would be useful to a DIYer, then the vids wont run too long, keep em coming mate, great work.

Hi mate, just found your chanel, sorry dont know your name?, great video, i would have liked you to expand a bit on your other tiling tools which you have found best for your career so far, as in what is the best diamond blade for cutting porcelain tiles for your dewalt or makita?, I.E,budget and high end? Tile nippers, and must have tools. Im a handyman so its nice to learn off the pros, i hav'nt gone through your vids yet but it would be nice to see you doing some tiling, walls floors, awkward cuts, around windows, tile trims, around pipes etc. Got to take a look at those buihi clips, keep the vids coming, glad i found your chanel, kevin

When I started In 2009 clips weren’t even out and we had to do large format 6x6 and 6x3 rectified edge by feel. Now days you have apprentices who don’t have the ability to do a single bathroom without a laser level and clips and 1000 different tools.
