Fresh Prince was on as well. Martin was the show. They both equally were the catalyst. Will the Grammy winner & hit show. Martin hosting Def Comedy jam wit a hit show. Both putting in work since late 80s. Bad Boys 4!! 🔥

It is wild. So the Jewish guy told the black guy he couldn’t perform in the home of hip hop because of who he likes for president

there are a couple things that happened to HOT97 first imo was making Ebro a radio personality, every other problem stems from that. for the many nostalgic/historic hiphop moments that have happened at HOT97 Ebro and Rosenberg think that they define New York hip hop, (even though they were not the radio personalities that ushered those iconic moments) so they find themselves a lot of time going against the ever changing sound of NY.

The morning show is not the whole station. Take away the morning show and the station is still relevant. I never rocked with Ebro.

Akademiks, Charlamagne, Joe Budden, Elliot Wilson, Nore, Vlad, Ebro & Rosenberg..almost everybody in hip-hop media got a bunch of naysayers or some form of criticism from the internet..it’s almost as if you ain’t doing your job if you don’t honestly

@@himynameis294 doesn’t matter..anybody with sense knows Akademiks isn’t a legend lol..if you wanna really talk about it Rosenberg is the one who gave Joe & Nore the ideas to start up a podcast when they were guests on his pod back in the day..Cipha Sounds & Rosenberg had the original hip-hop podcast but it’s not cool to give him props because he’s a “whyte J*w” but facts are facts 🤷🏾♂️

Ebro & Rosenberg get a lot of unnecessary flack from people who especially don’t even care to listen to the show..in a time where radio personalities will do & say almost anything for views, they’re committed to standing on certain morals meanwhile being informative and entertaining which I respect. the whole “Hot 97 is dying” narrative as if it’s the morning shows fault is unfair, radio in general is a dying media. The Breakfast Club/Power 105 ain’t connecting like it used too and a lot people ain’t f*cking with Charlamagne , Envy etc. like that anymore either

Honestly, there’s a rupture happening in hip hop. The Kendrick Drake thing was just a symptom of it. I respect them and actually care more about the pod knowing that they stood for something. There’s a big difference between supporting artist who might have a criminal background from the hood and supporting a politician AFTER he’s been convicted, rallied with KKK members and called African countries shit whole countries. I used to feel bad for Americans but now I feel like yall deserve what you get. It’s all just WHATEVER / Both sides / I’m not gon tell ppl who to vote for and that’s shits WACK AF! Yall got opinions about every freaking conspiracy, music, topics u don’t know anything about but then when it comes to policies and political stuff it’s: We’re not a political podcast. Stand up and stand on something. Niggas wanna be cool so they can’t say vote blue because it’s not cool with “the kids” and Niggas don’t wanna be coons and support Trump so they just say it’s whatever - LAAAAAAME

Hot 97 is in New York based radio show that is mainly worried about New York. The Summer jam controversy isn't even a controversy. The cops didn't want them there so he can't perform, and his homeboy in solidarity said I'm not performing either. it's very simple

🚨 🔔 ⚠️: I don’t like Trump so it’s so obvious to me that he only pardoned Kodak, Wayne, and others just to get black votes. Because my distaste for Trump is so strong, I may miss the fuckery that Biden is doing. However, I am not a Biden supporter. I wish more young black guys paid more attention to politics. It’s like we’re too busy to truly understand just how bad Trump is for our country and us as a ppl
