FIFA back then didn’t include English teams outside the Premier League. However because Robbie Williams is a fan, Port Vale were in the game under “Rest of the World”.

only due to technical limitations. at least according to what modern game leads have said about history. and when i look at old games and see the countless ads for helplines that cost 5 or 10 quids per minute i cant really argue. some companies intentionally made their games so cryptic and difficult to push people to call and buy guides. fifa was in the lucky side that they really couldnt monetize the game those ways. now theyre taking back with interest.

I was 13 when this came out and used to listen to the lyrics "we don't want to get a job", thinking how I didn't have to worry about getting a job, just playing some FIFA when I got in from school. How I miss those simpler days
