pls if u do run ransomwares just disable internet connection, whether if its a vm or not, its gonna spread through ur internet connection and will infect ur main pc aswell ur parents's or siblings's if u have any. its important.

@Glazion927you did stop the wifi but u didnt unplug the virtual internet cable from the vm which i think can still access ur laptop Just right click on the icon (search for an icon that looks like the end of an internet cable) and then disable it
