@@DonnyLocomotives Thanks, glad you like the shorts, the location on this one is at Castle Hills in Northallerton, there is a public footpath that goes right across the East Coast Mainline, it's also where the Wensleydale Line meets the ECML.

Google maps can sometimes help to find spots, but then you have to get to them.

The closest thing ive found is a old lumo tweet on X "Tomorrow's 12:18 King’s Cross to Edinburgh service will be operated with a train on hire from Hull Trains. Unfortunately the seat reservation system will not be able to operate, please only board this train if you have a prior reservation so we can try and accommodate everyone."

@@TheClass155-t5t I'm guessing one of Lumo's 803's was broken, so they had to borrow one of HT 802's, rather than cancelling the service

@@TheClass155-t5t I'm unaware of HT cancelling any of its services that day, all I can say is that it was worth seeing as it probably won't happen again, I bet people in Edinburgh were surprised when it pulled into the platform.

Definitely rarer to see as most freight is on what I call the low line, but we still get a fair bit on the east coast main line that trundles through the station. Thanks for the comment.

That's what it says on Railcam Data, which is the site I use to find stuff out, most other ROG moves through Northallerton are Northern rail stock but they still state that it's Rail Operations Group that moves them. Hope this explains it a little bit, thanks for the comment.
