Having experienced first hand his riding ability many times this doesn’t surprise me, what people don’t know is he can win in any Motorsport. You should see him on a snowmobile, Atv, trials, endouro, supermoto bike or him race a GNCC, this still amazes me but not really surprised. Congrats Doug!

I don’t care if it’s a Kawasaki, ktm and Yamaha creation the more brands the better for powersports. Feels like where I was a kid and manufacturers were all out just producing machines. The showroom floors used to be a sea of colors.

All 450s have a broad power curve and all 450s have low end torque.... wayy to tell us absolutely NOTHING. If I want to learn how to ride I would ask Ricky Carmichael if I want to know about a bike I would ask a manufacturer not Ricky Carmichael who's overpaid for his opinion

😂You don’t need a petrol powered generator…they sell 3.6kW battery electric/solar generators at Costco now called EcoFlow for less than $2k and 30% off from Fed Gov part of the IRA here in the States. LFP battery chemistry means 10 years of daily use and you’ll still have 80% capacity. Basically a 30 year battery lifespan. Also it would make more sense to get one of their propane generators if you really need it, since it’s cheaper and 1/4 the weight and volume. 90% of the pop lives in the sunbelt. Or just expand the battery generator cheaply with a simple adapter and 48V 200ah batteries. Once your car is fully electric, you realize you can power your house power your motorcycle, everything simple no need for these separate fuels. Which cannot be replenished on site locally w/ Solar and have to be refilled at stations that are also refilled by larger trucks. 3.6kWhs gives me 10 miles a day from the sun in my EV, but could give me at least 65 miles a day on a dirtbike. Using a portable 400watt panel

They must have had some developmental issues for them not to race the bike in 2025 like they originally planned. No need to rush it. Get it right the first time.

Sounds like it’s being raced in a euro championships but will be closer to stock form. Was talked about on the vital mxgp podcast. Curious if they are using it to stress test the bike in race situations without the exposure of mxgp or smx
