You shoulnt touch stuff you cant handle and clearly you cant handle a late 90/ early 2000 mercedes since you say stuff like that. Easy cars to work on honestly.
@Hackjob1019 ай бұрын
Explain where I said I couldn't handle it? Lol this was the first time opening the trunk to find this disaster from the previous owner. This was ALL fixed including the dead Amp inside the wheel well causing the electrical drain and the mechanical issues under the hood which was almost an entire top end rebuild. Thanks for the comment though 👍🏻

If you're buying a vehicle sight unseen in 2023 when every phone can record video, you have bigger problems than buying a car
@Hackjob1019 ай бұрын
You can't always look at everything. It was only 1000 dollars for a low miles e350 Benz. The parts alone could of paid for the car. Problems were fixed and the car was flipped for a profit. Thanks for the comment 👍🏻

He obviously has never taken apart the wiring harness for a Chevy S10. That Mercedes looks emaciated compared to just the underdash relay center for an S10: 72 terminals, and 14 are double wire leads. That is just THAT location. The underhood terminal/ fuse block has 220 termal leads. Care to take THAT on, @Hackjob101

@Hackjob1019 ай бұрын
@stevencovington4715 more or less removing everything down to the frame. Or anytime I take the cab off a frame I tend to say off body, kind of a dumb term really lol.

This car was a mechanical and electrical nightmare but in the end it was a relatively easy job and sold pretty quick. What's your experience with auction vehicles?

Brakes, fluids, joints, steering and suspension always check all these thoroughly before and after purchase of any used vehicle.

What is the connection between the fan clutch going bad and the tow/haul flashing? It doesnt seem like the two should be connected. Thanks
@Hackjob10110 ай бұрын
My best guess since it's not really a confirmed answer that I have found but the fan clutch wiring is on the same circuit as the PCM. So my guess is that when shorted out or overloaded, it is causing the PCM to act up and throw codes, random no start, and when it does run it runs in limp mode with hard shifts.

How far can I drive my 2005 f250 after replacing my Transmission heat sensor,before reprogramming?
@Hackjob101 Жыл бұрын
Temp sensors don’t require programming. The transmission temp sensor will leak fluid once removed so just make sure to replace any lost fluid and you should be able to drive as usual no programming required.
