How do you switch to Panel settings? Or do you just disengage all switches and it goes to panel?

No any setting on Boss Katana. It's allow the external foot switch to plug in. It's will working immediatly after plug any compatability external foot switch.

Zoom G5 have to modify inside for external footswitch, so you have to take it or send it Zoom G5 to me and will return when finish modifying both your Zoom G5 and external footswitch and cables

This footswitch design for MS-50 modified. So can't take this footswitch use for any standard MS-50.

You can't connect patch pedal to normal G5. In this clip VDO G5 had some modify to support this patch pedal.

can not. It use for record and stop only. That is Boss design the function of external footswitch.

@@cyclingtraders thank you for your response. i manage to use it as patch+ and patch- as fs6 clone however, if i you kept patching up or kept patching down no problem, but if you went from patch+ to patch- , it will patch+ first then press patch- to go down, in total you need 3 press to go the opposite direction. and i observed that for the patch+ and patch- you need to have the normally close switch and it will work fine

@@paolorodriguez9948 Hi. Any idea if it is possible to use any footswitch to change between the channels (I mean between clean, drive and distortion and not song or recordings)? I have tried with fs-6 and fs-7 in roland store and no success.. I was wondering if any custom made switch will do the better job..

@@dusankrsmanovic9131 i made a custom footswitch and set it as normally close. meaning always on. because i observe that, whenever the switch becomes open thats when the channel/effect changes, patch+ or patch- .. and make sure that... the js10 is off before inserting your fs6 or fs7. and Pedal Setting is on the patch-1 and patch+1
