How the hell were you hitting jumps with those bars? Fricken impressive mate 👊 Your nephews are already great riders too 🔥 Must run in the family 🤘

Hahah, it's not too hard on small jumps I am familiar with. Feels really sketchy though! Yeah, they are naturals at all sports. Makes me wish I started MTB before I was 30.

Mogo looks so good. I will have to try and get there in the next few weeks. What GoPro setup are you using first your videos? They look perfect and the motion blur is spot on. What settings are you using?
@BikesnLikes5 күн бұрын
Get there if you can, it's great! - Gopro 11 - Chin mount - usually 'superview', but I think in this one I used 'hyperview' - a 'windslayer' for audio Motion blur is a huge headache that comes with massive downsides; basicly, the whole image blurs and is ruined when the camera is too shaky. I use nd filters to slow the shutter speed down, but still leave shutter on auto to adjust for light changes. Compromise I've found with a Chin mount (head helps camera stability): - ev -0.5 - full sun - nd 16 filter (or nd 8 if you really want to keep image clean) - overcast or shady/rainforest - nd 8 filter (or nd 4 if you want to keep image clean) - iso 100-200 Hope that helps a bit. Let me know if I did didnt explain good.

@ that helps out. Thanks so much 👍

@ I rode at knapsack today and tried the GoPro settings with a chest mount. The footage looks like I was riding a pogo stick more than a mtb 😜 I think I may need to invest in a chin mount. The hyper smooth just didn’t do its job with those settings. Now I know what you mean by the motion blur is a massive headache. It’s hard to find that balance of enough motion blur and not too much.
@BikesnLikes4 күн бұрын
@ozmtbrider, yep, it's a really tricky balance to find. A gimble or Chin mount is a must if you want to go down that rabbit hole.

@BikesnLikesАй бұрын
Yeah lots of scenery in the mountains obviously, but the narrow bit is quite unique and more impressive in person. The thumb isn't too bad. This is filmed a couple of months ago, not too long after i hurt it. Turned out to have a small fracture, so I was just resting it... after my Stomlo race and Mogo hahah.

Hey bro sick video, I've seen a few of your videos now. Your a good rider was wondering if your out west? My Dad and I both ride specialized kenevo comps with triple clamp forks would be good to ride if your down ? We usually ride at knapsack.

Hey, thanks, mate! I'm not out west, but I do find myself heading past Knapsack every now and then. I'm probably gonna be really busy for next few months, but msg me on insta and maybe we can sort something out when I've got time. How awesome are the Kenevos!

good stuff mate! i reckon if you look at your line through the corner before the step up you are blowing a bit of speed by dropping down to the middle of the berm halfway through. Try stick to the high line for the whole corner next time and see if that helps carry speed, but nailed it in the end
@BikesnLikesАй бұрын
Thanks, mate! I'll try to keep that in mind. I really think I have a bit to learn on berms too.

Thanks, Matt! Yeah, the trails are great and only look to be getting better! It will be incredible when finished. Yes, I have my camera on a chin mount. I have a fox proframe helmet with a custom mount that people 3d print and sell on etsy. You can get heaps on chin mounts on a website called chinmounts.com I think.

@@danielmarson1131 thanks so much Daniel! I didn’t go there with a plan to ride the e-bike, just had both bikes and it’s what I felt like on the day but… it didn’t take long to realise it was e-bike paradise! @danielmarson11313 ай бұрын
Roofusone. Myself and a mate won a MTBDIRECT competition. We both have "Analogue" bikes, and yes, the trails are awesome and so long, they feel like they go forever BUT every decent requires an aweful amount of climbs back. We were getting overtaken by the same trio of E-bikers multiple times who could just focus there energy on the trails and not the endless climbs!
