Really helpful. You're such a good instructor and sewist. I understand prewashing the fabrics so they don't shrink differently once quilted and sewn, but what about the wadding, is that already preshrunk? Thx!

I'm so disappointed with Minerva. They did not send my full oder after an initial mistake on their part. I have contacted them twice, but no reply. Though the missing item is of low value it has caused me great inconvenience. I no longer trust them. Won't shop with them again.

I tried doing this, followed ever instruction, and my bodice is so small i cannot close it and its so short it won't go over my bust. I don't know what to do from here. :(

What about the distance over the measuring tape itself? Between the last number shown and the one would be a couple inches?

It would be very helpful if someone could model the pants. They look nice, but would help to see it on a body. Ty for the tutorial - it is very helpful for a beginner 😊

Hi! What if you needed to grade a top - larger bust to a smaller waist. Would it be the same process?

I have been looking at that fabric for a while, looks like I might have to cut it out side, the collar, can I cut it wider I like to keep my neck warm, your bomber jacket looks good on you.

I had some problems with the volume of the background audio. The music got way too loud at some parts - like when the camera switched to the batik after you explained how it was made - and while you were talking, with my volume on low, the music in the background mimicked the sound of a background siren or vacuum cleaner with a high-pitched whine. A few times, the volume of the music was raised while you were still talking, obstructing your voice. It was hard to pick a volume when your voice and the music were at different levels, and I had to choose to either not hear what you were saying or to trigger sensory overload with the music. Thank you for this video, but please consider modulating noise level and eliminating volume differences between switches in future videos. ps: I found this video when searching google for which kind of interfacing to use with batik fabrics and sadly that wasn't covered.

This is a great size bag. I didnt understand the u shape that was drawn and sewn on the outer pocket though. Is it just limiting the size of the pocket? Also does it leave an open channel on either side? I know you didn’t write the pattern but im curious if you think that step could be skipped? Maybe add a snap or velcro to keep the pocket from gaping open instead?
