What a gem of a doco esp the Cairns to Almeden section with all those camera angles and shorts ... how on earth did you manage all that. I knew people at Almaden and would drop in if the timing was right over a five year period when working out at Kowanyama. A Blue Hills hospitality at Almaden if ever there was one. Not much there to look at but the people are worth bottling.

I rode this lovely train about 3 weeks after it started, I was the only passenger onboard. We stopped and delivered parcels to people in the few little towns along the way with the occasional stopping of the train thrown in to go for a walk and show me some truly remarkable things. The Driver and his Mate took really good care of me, maybe it helped that I'm a railroader too. Thanks for the video !
