Look it’s where the liner is so tightly cut for the pivot it takes a lot of pressure to slide that liner off the pivot screw. I run in to this issue with soooooo many knives even divo.

I don't know if you've ever gotten unique hands bearings. I'm sure you probably have. If not, just look up unique hand spinner. And try to find pulsars. They have a 2.0 and then regulars. If you haven't tried those, they give you that feeling of a sea bearing but more vibration and way longer spin times

Did you hold the knife in front of you with the sheath looking up. The end of the handle is the pot,little up the tree stump and then the top a full tree that's decorated . Just thought.

I'd call it a dumb grind. Restricting the primary bevel to 1/4 of the blade height is going to make this a rather poor cutter, and that edge bevel is going to get real fat real quick with a few sharpenings. And the plunge extends well into the cutting edge. Blah.

CDC has a version of their own but no satin.
