AC2 has PS2 graphics though for some reason.

AC2 is way better than this crap. Just try it, instead of watching videos, the game is unplayable and more buggy than AC Unity at its release. AC2 has been graphically enhanced as well, and way more fun

@@Lalo-bu9sb Unity is just flashy, the animations are awesome, but when it comes to actual control and manual parkour, the originals are top-tier. AC3/IV are okay, but a lot more buggy than AC1/AC2/ACB/ACRev. Unity is just full-auto mode.

AC1 is the only AC game that you can realistically complete in full stealth for all Assassination Targets who don't force a stealth break before their death with all HUD elements turned off because the side missions give you maps of guard positions and patrol routes for that area, meaning you don't need a minimap of red dots prewarning you of the enemy around the corner. AC1 has it's problems, but my god is it the AC game where you feel most like an Assassin. I don't know how they could have kept the series going though playing like this. The series would have gotten stale quickly if everygame was just AC1 but more polished. Ezio's trilogy definitely makes you feel like an Assassin who is challenging the old ways of the Creed and bringing it to the Renaissance era, especially ACB. Actually I like the progression of the original "trilogy" (Ezio gets three games, but I consider it one story). Altair starts the Brotherhood on its path to reform, Ezio is the literal Renaissance of the Assassins and Connor is the last success the Assassins really have before the Templars start crushing them by the point of the Modern day story. I sorta like the Idea that AC3 is supposed to be massive tragedy that reflects the tragey of colonial America. A new land, a chance for a fresh start - and humanity makes all the same evil mistakes that cause bloodshed, war and death. Likewise, the Templars and Assassins, despite being closer than ever in AC3 to sharing the same motives, methods and goals as each other - fall back into murdering each other. Alot of people hate AC3 and Connor and I was definitely a bit dissapointed when it released, but in retrospect it had be the way it was to explain the downfall of the Godly Assassin Order from the 1200s to the mind 1500s.

Man, playing AC games without HUD is as hard as satisfying. Some of them are simply inpossible, but i made it on AC1 (put your ear on when the rafiq says where you should look for your objetive, and climb viewpoints to locate specific places) Origins (hard, but the game developers thought about it and there is always ways to know where to go or findung your objetive, just LOOK what your seeing, really better than an ugly icon with metres going down) Mirage too, it was the easiest by far, i had to open the map really few times. In fact, Enkidu & Senu became really good friends for me 😂 tried on odyssey, but clearly its not made for that way of crazy playing. You simply cant hide the map on the others without ruining the gameplay, and i wont even speak about valhala, probably pretty viable, but i didn like that game at all. Obviously, they all have missions in which you must activate it.

if you like combat then dont "Talk" to citizen after saving them from white armor guards. it means these white guards will respawn , and you can spam combo k&ll and counter k&ll animations and they dont run away sc&red like normal guards do. so they are fun to f&ght. They never retreat. also, if you dont "talk" to guards after saving them there wont be any ann&ying civilian vigilante groups helping(aka interrupting) you during your fun combat scenarios. tip2: you dont need viewpoints, the bureau dude will give you direction and if you are close to any POi they will call out to you, every poi has sound cues so you cant miss them

It's a great bit of world building that the games slowly lost imo. In universe the Assassins are effectively the evil scary murderers to the average citizen. We get to see them as the secret unsung heros of humanity's freedom, but to the people of 12th century, Altair literally just walks into town, murders whoever he pleases for seemingly no reason and disappears for a few months only to come back and do it again... twice. In three seperate cities. Imagine if a guy did in real life in the middle of New York, Washington and Los Angeles 😂
