Wow I’ve been watching your tutorials for needle tatting and I have to say your videos are probably the best beginner friendly ones I’ve seen, other tutorials skips or go way too fast to explain it properly, I am actually able to get some tatting done now thanks to your videos ☺️❤️

Finding this a year later. Thanks so much for doing this! I was really struggling to get my stitches in the right places and I'd figured out to increase the columns, but I didn't think increasing the rows would help. I was so wrong! Thanks again!

Thank you so much for this information! I was struggling to make an envelope using the exact same score board. O was ready to throw it out in the yard, but I found your tutorial instead. Once you explained the scale mark and the score guide, all of a sudden I knew what I was doing wrong. Thank you again for sharing!

Just found your video. Many years ago, when I was a teenager, someone tried to teach me tatting with a bobbin. Never could get the hang if it. Needle tatting seems much easier especially as you explain it in great detail. Im looking forward to attempting tatting again. Thank you for posting.
@SbeeCreates20 күн бұрын
@@MC-yi3zp I agree needle tatting seems easier to me as well. I've made a couple of projects with the shuttle and hated every minute of it. Needle tatting just seems so relaxed. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Happy Tatting! 🧶🪡

I’m new here and haven’t watched every video yet, but loving each one so far! Do you show how you block ? Do you use starch?
@SbeeCreates25 күн бұрын
I'm glad you're here! 😊 I haven't shown how to block yet. I usually just do the simple way which is just using water and pinning the lace and letting it dry. I might show how to do other methods which are a bit more permanent. Hope you enjoy and feel free to ask questions if something isn't clear.

a different question, but do you know of a serger that also does embroidery?
@SbeeCreatesАй бұрын
@@WDallian-ql1he if there is a machine that does both I haven't seen it. I think the way a serger and embroidery works is so different that it would be hard to make one machine do both, but who knows I have never done machine embroidery so maybe there is one. 😊

Thank you 😊 just a warning, If you do try needle tatting you will become addicted 😁. JK. It's a beautiful craft, try it and see if it's something you'd like. I started tatting by using a long doll needle (it what I had) and some thin yarn.

Thank you for this. The instructions are v clear. I am a total newcomer to tatting so having watched and attempted the previous videos successfully I found the second half a little too fast as slow repetition of the elements after joining would have been better and help cement the previous learning. Otherwise it really helpful.

Great tutorial! Thanks!! Is there a way of curving the sts? Let's say you have an elongated st that you want to curve either in or out...is it possible to do that?
@SbeeCreates2 ай бұрын
I'm not sure if you can curve the stitches in the program itself but you could create a custom stitch in inkscape, Photoshop, or even draw it by hand in black sharpie and upload/download it to stitchworks. I will play around and see if I can figure out how to do that. If I do, I'll make a video. 🙂
@Dollectable_Dreams2 ай бұрын
@@SbeeCreates Thank you so much for answering!! I don't think it's possible to do that in StitchWorks but as you said, I discovered you can make them and upload to the program. It's a great little free program. Thanks for all the videos!!
