Probably a real dumb question, but if I buy some Sandmarc lenses (50mm and wide) along with this Hybrid Filter to use with my iPhone 14 Pro Max and then a year from now I upgrade to the 16 Pro Max, the lenses and filters will still work, as long as I have the proper iPhone 16 Pro Max Sandmarc case Is that correct? I want to be sure before I pull the trigger on the lenses and filter. I don't mind having to buy a new case to accompany a phone upgrade, but I want to be 100% sure that the lenses and filter I buy aren't ONLY for the 14 Pro max I currently use.. Thanks!

the only issue I'm seeing with all the brands is that, if you upgrade your phone you have to upgrade the whole system, and its not easy to sell due to its niche. companies should do better with recycling, having an option to return the used equipment in exchange to store credits like Moment has (not that great tho)... and also, have more long term solutions and universal mounts without the need of a proprietary case.

Please don't "M*ment" us. Remember that other company with the unacknowledged PR disaster a few years ago? After which the founding staff disappeared and were quickly replaced by cheery sims? If a lens is not optimized for the iPhone 16 Pro or Pro Max, don't keep selling it as if it is. It will backfire on you. I'm speaking specifically of the 6x, as it will NOT work correctly with the 16 Pro/Pro Max 5x lens with horrible ghosting and CA and is less than ideal with vignetting on the 1x. Yes, I bought the Sandmarc 6x hoping to use it on my 16 Pro Max. But wait! There's now quietly emerging a "new" version of the 6x specifically for the 16 Pro Max for pre-order. Hmm, wish I'd known about that earlier. Of course, admitting that your product won't work correctly with their phones ahead of time might cause people not to buy it. If we admit anything, they might even want their money back. See, that wasn't such an ethical dilemma after all...as long as we do it quietly, so nobody notices. That worked great for that other company.

Says the gimbal can hold 300 grams. The iphone 16 pro max is 230g and my anamorphic 1.55 lens is 150g. The DJI osmo 6 couldnt hold it. How much does the sandmarc lens weigh?

a quick question I found a review from a youtuber about the sandmarc case usb-c port can’t fit usb-c cables if you want to do external recording. He also mention that he did make some additional cut out to the usb-c port to make the cable fit. Also the thread for the lens don’t have enough depth and if you screw in too much might damage the lens. Hope you can check this. Thanks!
