Jon was a missing link for me, just went to Bitter End show and now I'm a convert! Thx for keeping the flame alive.

There she stood in the street Smiling from her head to her feet I said hey, what is this Now baby, maybe she's in need of a kiss I said hey, what's your name baby Maybe we can see things the same Now don't you wait or hesitate Let's move before they raise the parking rate All right now baby, it's all right now All right now baby, it's all right now I took her home to my place Watching every move on her face She said look, what's your game baby Are you tryin' to put me in shame I said slow don't go so fast Don't you think that love can last She said love, Lord above Now you're tryin' to trick me in love All right now baby, it's all right now All right now baby, it's all right now All right now baby, it's all right now All right now baby, it's all right now All right now baby, it's all right now All right now baby, it's all right now All right now baby, it's all right now All right now baby, it's all right now

3:30 Jon C addressing the band members "what do you want to play to start off with ... anything special? or should we get straight to work on some tunes?" Unknown Smart-Ass Band Member answers with a Spinal Tap reference, "Jazz Odyssey" [ 🤣🤣🤣]

21:31 "RudeRemarks" Nigel Hall B3 Organ player closes Go-go Juice down with a Horror Movie chord, recieves hearty congratulations afterwards from bass player Cornell Continental Williams. I think Cornell sneaky-quoted Derek Smalls bass solo from Jazz Odyssey 2:23. These guys are just hilarious

38:01 Nigel Hall "hey fellas look... (plays a super bad, thin sliced, rhythm riff ) !" Cleary inspired by Nigel to Kick off joyous session of trading eights from organ to piano to organ to sax .... Finally I can hear the saxophonist -- Aaron Fletcher? -- but wow, that sax player really really is an effortless and absolute monster musician. Aaron nods at Ricio Fugè"yeah go ahead take the next one" CLASSY.

I grew up expatriated. I went through a similar musical autobiography of becoming obsessed with certain Cuts/Tracks/ Artists/ RadioDJ ( didnt know as a child that all roads led to New Orleans, not Rome, Musically). I. used to stay awake way past exhaustion hoping to hear again that one important piece of music. Before "shazam" and "google"etcetera. Unwittingly unknowingly I was hearing my "home Music" calling me......the music of New Orleans. Unlike Mr Jon Cleary, I did not follow my hungry soul to New Orleans. I can tell you personally as a non-belonging outsider or a perennial stranger to a deeply historied local music scene, it's NOT VERY EASY to play the role in life of the devoted keeper of the flame.!!!!!!! Especially when you have your *own* talents, your *own* intelligence, your *own* creativity that would like to be recognized once in a while. Especially when musicians born into it, seek to escape and grow past it!! Multiple generation N.O. musicians may appreciate Jon's sincerity and his gifts too. Or they may sniff skeptically -- but whatever the case this man brings me SO MUCH PRIDE. You be you, Jon Cleary and don't stop. May you live another full lifetime within this piano playing incarnation, and don't you dare stop.
