Saying that FC København is more of a business than it is a football club, implying that brøndby is a "real club", just shows the delusional world a lot of brøndby fans live in. brøndby were the second team in the world the get listed on the stock exchange, they're basically the precursor of modern football here in Denmark. And their way of running an economical sustainable football club is a complete joke, going season after season with a huge deficit, having been saved from bankruptcy several times by someone pumping money into the club. Not much of a football club. They was against GFH taking over the club (multiple club owners), but they've essentially accepted it (which the last line of @guld1999 is also implying), and for the last game last season, where brøndby just needed a win against AGF (luckily they lost and bottled the championship), the interest and ticket demand for the game exploded, they could've sold 3-4 times out for their stadium. And several times throughout the last 20 years, where brøndby has been very unstable, there's a tendency of the number of fans showing up in their stadium, dropping drastically when brøndby is having a bad season, but when they enter a good season again, the "fans" is showing up again. The numbers of fans in the different seasons, are easy to find on the internet. There's a LOT of brøndby fans (not everyone of course) who live in this aforementioned delusional world, where they think that brøndby is a more "real" club than FC København, and that their supporters are more loyal than us. Everyone with more than two braincells, knows that there is absolutely no evidence for them being more loyal and dedicated to the club, than us. So please, for the love of God, don't let this "real club vs. a company" bullshit fool you. Over and out, see you at PARKEN one day!

I'll still say it from the experience I got both sides showed one hell of an account or themselves and why I said I'll be back. The weekend has made me sit up and take notice of Danish football a little more, it's a lot more complex than I first thought, and the passion is as high as I ever imagined.

⁠@@OnlyStandsTerraces I’m a Midtjylland supporter. Truth be told, neither of the clubs Fcm or Viborg is as big as Copenhagen or Brøndby, and neither is the derby. They have the biggest fanbases, and have won the most titles. But the hatred is just as intense as the Copenhagen/Brøndby fans. My club Midtjylland, is a fairly young club, but we have been growing rapidly and contributed to the Danish coefficient and won a few titles in our fairly young history. Vff on the other hand, is useless in the actual football department, but other Danish fanbases like them. Simply because they hate us. Our rivalry started when Midtjylland was founded in 1999, as Herning Fremad and Ikast FS merged. The clubs realised they couldn’t compete with other elite teams in Denmark, and decided to join forces. They named the club FC Midtjylland, which translates to ‘Middle of Jutland’. Jutland being the part of Denmark we are from and Middle the part of Jutland. That pissed off the Viborg supporters. Viborg was the old capital, and they got angry because they feel we took a patent of the area, where Viborg is more centrally placed. They claim Herning, where Midtjylland is from, is West Jutland. Although Herning is very tightly geographically, between West and middle, we are factually part of the Region Midtjylland. And since we’ve been higher placed pretty much since we were founded, and been relevant in the top of Danish football, Viborg fans have a hard time handling that. Midtjylland fans ended up getting tired of hearing Viborg bitternes, and as of result we have the rivalry you see today. I know that was long as roman, but hopefully it gave you a little insight, and will to come visit us. It’s just very underrated derby internationally.

I love this to be honest. When I'm looking for derbies I don't just want to experience the well known 'big' derbies. I would love to attend some so to speak 'lower' derbies. My first ever derby was Hartlepool vs Darlington in the old English division 3 when I was 12 🤣 still love the smaller ones with big hate.

I had realised that both teams history was the merging of other clubs but did not know of it in that detail. My mistake, not just with this video, is my laziness with research. I do a little but not very much at all and if I am to continue with this and make quality content then I do need to put the work in. I expected as much going into it to be honest but was more intense around the ground and before the game than I thought. That sounds like a contradiction but I know what I mean 🤣 the match however made it a little anticlimactic would had loved to had been goals it's all that was missing 👌 Great place, great people

I must certainly enjoyed myself 👌🏻 despite the boring match. It had a couple of moments but overall yeah not the best. It was the only thing that let my overall score down, deffo will try and head back another time 👌🏻

Deffo do, the few Brondby fans I spoke to before the game absolutely love the club, I'd imagine it'll be the same on the other side. Very proud, friendly people. It would have been nice to be in a more central position so capture the atmosphere both ends. So loud

I thought that going through all the footage. To be fair I was that close to the Copenhagen fans I may as well have stood with them and they did not stop. Even by the human ear I could barely hear the Brondby fans BUT I could tell they were also making noise and never stopped. Lessons are always been learnt doing this and still early days 👌👌👌 Thanks for the feedback

The price of the ticket was inflated as I had brought it from someone and I knew I was paying much more than the face value. Public transport was the price of my fine for not having such a ticket 🤦 I do say at the end it costs me much more than I should have and that was purely through my own doing

I was getting the ticket from a friend of a friend 👌 usually gets them for me at face value but I had left this to the last minute to sort and asked him to do his best. So I knew I was paying more but happy as it was from a reliable source 🙂

Love this comment! It is definitely a team I grew a soft spot for. I was at the 4-0 win a few year back with friends and we have all followed their results ever since. Had a chance for the Ajax game also but couldn't get over due to work. Definitely a football club I would recommend to anyone.

Ja som Slovák a od 1995 roku som v Čechách,začal som fandiť Slávii a už 8 rokov som majiteľom pernamentky na TS. Neľutujem žiadnej koruny,ktorú som do toho dal,pretože Slávia je život!!! A mám radosť,že som dotiahol na Sláviu aj Maďara,takže i keď v mojej krajine sa Slovák s Maďarom neznáša,tu chodíme Slovák s Maďarom fandiť Slávii. :)

I agree football is and should be for everyone. I am not an advocate of racism in any form. Was purely commenting on the atmospheric aspect of the ultras and I did not know the problem ran so deep till now if truth be told.

To be honest I don't know the whole situation on the matter but there is a clear divide. One saying one thing and others another. In today's world what constitutes as racist I'm not even going to start to get into as nearly everything can be spun into one direction or the other.

They are not banned 😂 It was their own choice to quit, after what happened a few weeks ago.

@@OnlyStandsTerraces He's completely wrong though. The atmosphere was a lot better than usual nor are all the ultras banned. About 40 "fans" were banned from the stadium for showing racist gestures after which all of their friends (who were the ultras groups) suddenly decided to not support their team anymore. Which in turn ended up in some sort of a power struggle between those "fans" and the board of Club Brugge. During the last couple of games about 1000-2000 fans decided they prefer being silent as a form of protest instead of supporting their team in a derby. And yet, the people who are actually fans of Club Brugge and not themselves, still made it an amazing atmosphere. I hope you go back and enjoy it again (and probably even more) when those "fans" decide to follow their songbook at another team.

I was under the impression that a few got banned and other groups boycotted the game as a form of backing to those that got banned. I, in no way, thought the atmosphere was bad but not as I expected. I will be back that I am sure

​@@OnlyStandsTerracesin Belgium a 'derby' has a different meaning: two teams of the same city. They're not competitors or real rivals for most of the fans, coming from all places in Belgium. There's almost no tension and certainly not at the beginning of the season. I don't know if you're aware of the play-off formula in our league? The so called ultras don't make a difference in Bruges. A small group of 50 people that made some noise with a drum. Noise, not atmosphere. Keep in mind that most of the fans at the other side were cooking in the sun 😂
