The mind set on the flesh is death. But the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace. Romans 8:6. And who wouldn’t want more life and peace??😊🙏

What a Blessed Assurance we have in Christ , sealed at The Cross when Jesus said, “ IT IS FINISHED “ Eagerly waiting for our BLESSED HOPE, His soon appearing in the clouds to gather his own, all who have a personal relationship with Him as The Only Way, The Only Truth and The Only Life without whom no one can come to The Father! Come Lord Jesus, , come !!!!

If the bible and God are real. When was the last time you witnessed a real-life miracle? A real miracle as where you lost your legs or arms in war and you and the entire church community prayed for you to get your arms or legs back and the next day you woke up with your arms legs? When? Never. But they want you to believe God split the Red Sea to allow 2.2 million Hebrews to walk across before Pharoah caught up to them. And he fed them for forty years and their clothes never wore out during their 40 years?

There is an epidemic of “My Stuff” ongoing today. Storage units are up 50% since 2010. A new storage unit business has a 92% chance of significant profit in the first year. People are often paying thousands of dollars to store a couple of hundred dollars of things-My Stuff, which could actually bless others. As Pastor Gary says, someone else will have it, in this case as it is auctioned off for a few dollars on a reality show. Live with a heart of generosity, blessing others with ALL that our Lord blesses you with-resources, talents, abilities and talents time-that last one being my challenge!🤔🙏🙏

The majority of people do not understand God's grace has given them life, breath, and every moment of their existence. Be grateful for everything! The alternative is complete blackness with no light, joy, or hope. Look for "the outer darkness" in the Bible. That's what you have without the Creator's creation. I was given the experience of being there. You do not want that. Nothing to touch Nothing to see Nothing to feel Just you - forever Mathew 8:12 Mathew 22:13 Mathew 25:30

That's why churches ask for an endless amount of donations and the pastor has a mansion and fancy suit driving a keyless vehicle and everyone who pays those donations always look up instead of seeing the pastor as another person
@gvchristiancenter3 ай бұрын
Any person is susceptible to believing lies such as thinking that money is a sign of God's favor. Pastors are people and churches are people. That is why every person, pastor or not, needs a community of people who spend time in the Bible around them, because the truth of God's word sets us free. With one another and scripture, we can grow to be more like God. That's why preach from the Bible and why we post things like this.We should always be correcting our life to the teachings of scripture.

So you saying it’s ok to be cussing? I dont think it is Cussing at someone can be the worst derogatory thing you can do
@proanimaluver64873 ай бұрын
No,he did not say cuss at someone. Theres actually positivity in negative feedback. I say it that way because my brain damage isn't letting me remember the word for it. For instance, your son comes home safely after drunk driving. You don't say your a stupid piece of... You say , you could have killed yourself and somebody else!! That's the stupidest thing you have EVER done!! What were you thinking!! And so forth❤
@gvchristiancenter3 ай бұрын
Hey @davidbaggs2273 Great question! If we hyper-focus on cussing as "unwholesome talk", it justifies a lot of unwholesome talk we speak that isn't cuss words. We can justify by thinking that as long as we're not cussing, it's not "that bad". That's wrong thinking. That is the point he makes here. We can say many things that do not build others up, but aren't cussing. His challenge is to broaden our definition of unwholesome talk to anything that doesn't build others up, but tears them down. That can include cussing, but also includes many things we say beyond merely cuss words. KZbin Shorts only allow a minute, so I understand how some of this context can be missed. This specific comment Pastor Steve makes on unwholesome talk addresses gossip. He begins the point at 42:25 if you'd like to watch that particular point. We appreciate the comment @davidbaggs2273 !

Great point @proanimaluver6487 Sometimes we have to be honest with people even when it's difficult, but we must do so to build them up, that's the point Pastor Steve makes here. We can't be reckless with our words even if we are right in what we're saying. What is important is we speak in love, to build others up.
