I can’t walk around my deck as it’s on a hillside so how could I apply the texture that you sprinkle on?

I visited the guys at flexstone and asked a similar question, they said the video was more for illustration purposes but it can be walked on to apply the flakes

The mixing stick trick....marking off mix and adding water for 4:1 ratio.....brilliant!!! Great video. Easy to follow. Can you tell me how much area one bucket would cover? I want to do either my house deck or surround pool deck. And, what is the wear of this? Can you touch up as needed or do you have to remove the whole thing and start over? Thanks very much.
