Found JJBA while I was living with my abusive stepdad, my mom would let me stay at my Grandpa's house for the night sometimes so I could get away from it for a while. Found a roblox Jojo game called Stand Upright, it was my first actual exposure to JJBA aside from memes. I loved the game so much, I eventually got a free crunchyroll subscription. Watched part 1 and loved it, found out Jojo was on netflix so I went there. Got to part 2 and was absolutely obssesed with the series. Everytime I went to my Grandpa's house I could not wait to see what happened next. Got to part 3 and it was also amazing, I heard this song when I decided to not skip the outro. I can't thank Araki enough for this series and Stand Upright for making me interested in the anime. I found this all in 2018 - 2019. I've now finished Stone Ocean and am halfway through SBR. I would have finished everything earlier but there was no way to watch Part 5 until 2021. I was able to leave the household with my mother in 2020, although we had to stay in a shelter, (a very nice one though, the people there were so caring.) we have been kind of bouncing around but we are slowly finding stability. My mom has a lot of health issues and she isn't able to really get a job. She's tried signing up for disability but not much luck yet, we've recently seen a light at the end of the tunnel as she might be able to get child support as we didn't really know we had any. It's complicated. I don't know what I would have done without JJBA and my mom, same with my grandpa, oh yeah, and Stand Upright. Thank You Araki.
