I'm still confused to this day. Why was MJ given only 2 free throws when he was fouled shooting a 3-pointer.

You could put a Mount Rushmore 5 Man team together from this game that would be pretty hard to beat. Magic, Michael, Scottie, Worthy and Kareem. Assuming they were all 27 years old. That's only because Kareem is 40 in this game.

Jordan torching the all-time steals per game leader Alvin Robertson all series. Jordan had to fight thru some of the greatest defenders of all time including Dennis Johnson, Michael Cooper, Sidney Moncrief, Joe Dumars, Gary Payton, Mitch Richmond. And he put them all to bed

I would love to see Jordan’s last two free throws to see if he missed on purpose to stay at 45 pts.
@marcostojanovic54922 ай бұрын
Notice the final score!? And back then, this was plenty on the board. Those 45 pts would translate to about 70, easy, in today's NBA.

Todays game is soooo boring to watch. I don’t want to watch scrimmage/summer league ball, no D, no running plays to beat the opposition when down like a game of chess. Get yourself in a hole, get yourself out of it.

This was when MJ played PG for the last 24 games of the season. Averaged 30/9/11 over those 24 games.

Weird. Very different free throw routine and stance from MJ? Coming from someone who rehearsed his free throw routine like a thousand times as a kid all the way to the gum chewing

Jordan was the leading mvp for regular season up to the all star break in first half of season and then at all star game and secound half of season it just went down hill.

Who put up 50+ points against Shaq and Dennis Rodman? The only person to do such a feat was Michael Jordan. Michael Jordan put up 64 points against Shaq on January 16, 1993. Michael Jordan scored 61 points against Dennis Rodman on March 4th, 1987. The moral of the story is, nobody else could score on these two beasts down low when you come in the paint because they were forces to be reckoned with.

Jordan had his worst playoff game ever in GM2, dropping only 15pts. But in Gms 1,3,4,5, and 6, He dropped 34, 40, 47, 40, and 40, averaging 37/8.5/9.5 in this series, finishing the Knicks in 6. More proof that anyone (just like MJ) can have a bad game, but MJ has never EVER had a bad series in his 51 career playoff series appearances. I mean his worst series was in the '1997 ECF vs The Heat He Avgd 30.2PPG/ 8.0RPG / 2.6APG / 1.6SPG/ 0.8BPG shooting 39% for the series, Bulls winning 4-1. That was Michael Jordan's worst playoff series out of 51 career playoff series appearances.

Insane... Mike had 44 on 57%FG, 9Ast, 5Blks, 5Stls. Nobody in today's game has numbers like that. 86-92 MJ did it all! He thrived in every single aspect of the game. The only part of his game where he was just average was the 3 ball. And that's just because in those days teams would average 5 3pt attempts per game, whereas today the average 35 attempts per game. Young people seem to only be familiar with Rodman MJ, and the 96-98 seasons, and think all he was good for was his mid-range fadeaways.
