Those of us that wanted this SUV when it was supposed to come out ---- 3 years ago ---- have already moved on. The dealer markups from Toyota in the US were $15k+ with reduced quality. No thanks Toyota --- your giant press campaign isn't going to help sell more now.

I just bought a trail sport 6 days ago and I am really loving it so far. I didn’t think the captains chairs would be necessary, but I only have two kids and it’s nice for them to easily walk into the 3rd row. I would say this car seats 6 people comfortably. My only complaint so far is that I wish it had a little more take off power at a stop light. Maybe because it’s brand new I need to let the engine break in, but I do wish it had a little extra power. I drove the Toyota grand highlander xle and preferred the way the pilot drove better.

Anything above the trailsport comes with 8 seats with removable second row middle seat that fits in the sub trunk. Might be a game changer for some. Was for me.

Nice review, that's the same Pilot TS I own. That color is Sonic Gray Pearl. The Diffused sky pearl is the bright blue color.

Excellent video, as always. Really liked that both pros and cons were mentioned. Seems to be very capable, but I can’t imagine three people in the back row unless they are very young children. As Connie notes, lots of clever storage solutions that other manufacturers should emulate.

Excellent review - a lot of good points. As always, love the back seat portion of the video, which gives so much useful context for the size and usability. Agree completely on the wheels - they are really beautiful on this car. We bought an E550 several years ago, and I was surprised at how much the price has increased though.
