I shoot a benelli super black eagle 12ga. And my son shoots a tristar 20ga. I use winchester 1buck buckshot and my son shoots federal 3 buck buckshot. Both with full chokes

@thewildlife912 yea I'm wanting to try an use shot gun where I hunt i lost a 8 pointer this year using a 243 single shot i shot him 3 times 10 yards away ive gotta 20g pump was wanting to give it a try cause where I hunt the range I hunt maybe 50 yards at most i also use 8mm an 308 it's just to much rifle for the rang i hunt

My grandson is 8 he goes with me squirrel and coon hunting. He's too young to go bear hunting and I know it. I made the mistake of taking my son at 5 and now he's not interested. Believe me my comment was not intended as criticism but advice. Either way God bless you for being there. PastorTim
