I love going through the free pile at sales. I have found some of my favorite treasures in them. I remember one time I found about 25 brass pieces and I still have them. One is a dolphin that is almost 4 feet tall.
@TheresTreasureEverywhere2 сағат бұрын
Holy cow! That is incredible! I didn't even know that 4' tall brass dolphins existed! Thanks for sharing!

Trash picking is so much fun! I once had full routes in my early 20s and it's amazing how much stuff gets thrown away!

Thanks for watching! Unfortunately we lost some of the recap footage and we weren't able to recover it. But we still wanted to take you along on our journey since this was actually our first attempt at filming a video for this channel from before the channel was ever created and this channel was still just something we dreamed up in our heads. Thanks for your likes, subscribing, commenting, etc. and giving us an awesome first year here on KZbin!

I'm curious to know about when you see purple but call it pink... So, when you see pink...Do you call it purple? Does that purple which you call pink look like a shade of pink? Or does the pink look like a lighter shade or darker shade of the purple which you call pink? I'm curious to know if it's a total color-blindness or to certain colors...or is about light and dark shade blindness? Or does the confusion happen when light is reflected off the surface of certain colors? That's alot to ask and idk if I even asked it right so, hope I didn't confuse you.
@TheresTreasureEverywhereСағат бұрын
@@NautMyNameAgain I think I understood it all. 😁I see purple and pink just fine. They're very clearly different colors to me. My brain somehow has it's wires crossed and blurts out the wrong word. Same thing happens when I see orange and green. I see green, but say orange 90% of the time, and say green when I see orange. Not sure why to be honest, just have for as long as I can remember. I often find myself correcting myself with the correct color while I'm halfway through saying the wrong color. Hope that all makes sense!

Betty Crocker cookbooks are good for reselling.

Thanks for the tip! I've sold some on the past, but I don't always grab them like I should.
@robindegraffenreid9056Күн бұрын
Im confused, why do you pay separately?
@TheresTreasureEverywhereКүн бұрын
We each sell online ourselves and keep the numbers separate for tax purposes.

Yeah, I used to take everything, but then started running out of room here in the barn, so we've been trying to clear space out here first before bringing in more big items.

Yeah a bad idea back then. We use to lay on a field and shoot an arrow into the sky to see how close it would get. Once it bounced off my brother’s belt buckle. How about playing chicken with throwing knives between your opponents feet. And to top it off we would take the old wooden tops that had steel tips sharpened to a point and have top wars trying to split the other guy’ wooden tops. Great fun back in the late 50s and 60s. Another fun thing on the military bases the DDT truck would go around the base and fumigate with a big white cloud trailing behind. When it got to the base housing area the older kids would run out behind the truck . The DDT cloud had a peppermint smell. Yep, sure was some bad ideas back then. Tough being a kid. Leave it the adults to come up with far away wars to go one up on us kids.

Peoples steal everythings they can .. I have seen it’s happen .. Jewelry’s got stolen the most even it’s only cost $1.00 or less .. lots elderly peoples is doing the stealing mostly of the times .. most elderly people only received fix income .. Social security doesn’t give that much , most elderly people doesn’t have retirement .. My mother in law worked at grocery stores for over 20 years and she only have $30,000 401 k plan savings .. She retired now but she have do instacart and other apps for extra cash for paying the bills ..

Was that a Horse pendant that was Sterling ? I would love that necklace if it’s a horse , but it might be something else.
@TheresTreasureEverywhere8 күн бұрын
Yes, it was a silver filigree horse.
@susanhagen95058 күн бұрын
@ How much would you want for it ? I should be able to buy my Goldette bracelet and this filagree horse next Wednesday, December 11th . I know the bracelet is $10 . I’m sorry I haven’t bought the bracelet before now , but I was short on money and I actually forgot about it.
@TheresTreasureEverywhere8 күн бұрын
@susanhagen9505 it's no problem at all. I've still got the bracelet here for you. I'll need to try and find the horse first and make sure I have it before I give you a price. This sale was a few months ago, so I hope I can still find it.

People donated all of the items for the sale, and volunteers priced them, with the proceeds going to the charity.
