This is very interesting, I’ve been reading about ingredients, but how we apply and remove stuff, especially for hooded eyes, I’d never thought of that, but I have them too and yeah, once it starts cos my moisturiser got a smidge nearer than it should, it never ends.

It’s really interesting to see this. As a HMUA myself I relate to you a lot as I’m also very neat and organised. Our kits are actually very much alike and that’s really funny. It feels like looking at my own kit 😅

Our eye shape changes with age too! I'm 41. I had the most snatched wings through to my mid 30s. About 35 I realized, hold on…why is this different? By 38 I had to relearn entirely. Now I feel every year, I'm learning a new way. So, thanks for sharing!! The lids you have today may be different tomorrow!

i learned this originally from Jaime French. same thing, using gel liner with Inglot and a tiny brush. I have super duper hooded eyes, so I bought a very thin art brush. I love it. It works great!

Omg! You're back! ❤️ Hope you don't have too much stress at work and can make some videos again! I'm using version 3 with a multichrome eyeshadow from lethal cosmetics, it looks black first, but shifts to a stunning red. Saving up for a thread lift, as my lids go far over the outside edge and hope it will lift them up to have your hooded version.

<3 Work is always busy but rarely stressful- I love it too much ahha! I always want to use the multichrome stuff, but because I need to know EXACTLY how stuff looks on camera I rarely get to play with it! Maybe I just need one for my own fun because using it as a liner sounds so cool!!

It was fun to see you use a brow pen as a liner. A while back I bought a brow marker that was too dark for me. I've since utilized it as an eyeliner, and it's the best I've ever had! It's so easy to use, because it's not too wet, and the tip is very fine. Finally I can do the liquid eyeliner thing 😂

I love your video. Especially since I am wanting to try IL Makiage lipsticks. You helped me narrow down which colors would work for me. My only suggestion is, to where a black or more neutral shade shirt because your red shirt made it a little hard to know if I'm seeing the actual color of the lipstick or if it's being effected by the color of your shirt. I look forward to learning more about makeup from your videos.

I always thought it was the eye makeup I was using that caused the extremely red and burning but it's not so much the eye makeup but the cover-up and face powder that is causing it and I have no idea what to do about it without just not wearing cover-up which I have bad dark circles, always have.

Just what I needed to see today. Have been meaning to try one of these shades out but a picture on the internet is always not enough. I just want to ask - how long lasting are these lipsticks? I bought a mac recently which promises 10 hr long lasting stay and it doesn't last even for 2 hours inspite of being a liquid lipstick. So very skeptical on putting my money on another not so long lasting shade! Please reply. Thanks. xx
@TomFraserMUA
@TomFraserMUA 2 жыл бұрын
Hey, so I don't really believe that any lipstick on the planet could last 10 hours without being compromised in some way- longwear liquid lipsticks always peel off or go goo-ey around the corners of your mouth, so in general I do prefer the bullet lipstick formulas. In my experience, if you line and blot your lips, then reapply, you get a really decent wear time out of these lipsticks, provided youre not eating and drinking a lot as of course that's going to interrupt the formula too. I think brands shouldn't make sure insane claims about lipsticks/ foundations/ concealers, because it's just not realistic! I do think these ones are a fab quality, and definitely worth it vs other formulas I have tried though!!
@levelupwithhiral

@@TomFraserMUA I've tried on the Dior liquid lipstick which costs almost the same price, a little more than mac maybe and it stayed all day while I didn't care about what I ate or drank. I was super impressed with that one. The Mac one barely stays for 2 hours. Do you think i must go ahead and buy the il makiage lipstick... Is it like a good investment.. or atleast does it stay for a couple hours?
@TomFraserMUA

@@levelupwithhiral That's incredibly impressive of the Dior lipsticks! When I have used these lipsticks on shoots, they have all held up very well for a number of hours, but I can't guarantee how long it will last on you sadly!
