I want one of these but it's really windy where I live. Would the 25 foot tube tail they make as an accessory for this be enough to keep it stable?

I was hoping a tube tail would help me me in my area of strong winds that are 90% gust all the time but it seems like yours still goes sideways even with the tube. Which is what causes crash where I live because all of sudden ten sustained 30 mph gust drops down to like 8mph and the kite can’t support its self in the perpendicular position it was in without the high wind and hits the ground. Sometimes it also gets too much lift and will similarly loop itself into the ground. Great video. I love the zenith series and just wish so bad to be able to fly mine reliably in my terrible area.

I notice box delta types always seem to dip like that all over the place and are never as stable as normal delta.

What make and model reel is that? It's impossible to find a nice one like that with the strap and carabiner to tether down with where I am.

😀 If I put up a kilometre of line in a Southerly at my favourite park, I would be encroaching on the exclusion zone for the local airfield. I also reclaimed a little 3sq mtr trilobite on1000ft of line by hand at a local beach in a stiff breeze not long ago, and I am becoming infatuated with your hand wind reels, the more that I see them. These are great due to their movement in the sky. They'd also make a terrible 'festival fly' kite with the amount of room they take up. I have resisted buying one.........for now 😊

This might be the step forward for me. At 72, my Quantum 2 just has a tiny bit too much beast about it for my reactions these days. Unless my eyes were deceived by the softer shape of the parafoil, it seemed a tad bit more mellow in its turns and such. I couldn't agree with you more about the quality of Prism's products. I have several. I enjoyed this clip, thanks for making it available.
