Hi, The process only works for one switch. So from the patch you're on, navigate to the new patch and make the switch. This new patch becomes your base patch. You can also only preselect one patch at a time

​@@howtwomusictech871thanks but I still dont understand. What does the base patch mean? How to go from one to the other and back? Please do a demo going till the end of the process. Im sad they did not keep smthg like on the ms 50 séries with up to 26 patches preselected. Thanks

@thierrygoli4271 once you have pressed the footswitch selecting the next patch you just have to start the process again. That is just how the function works on this unit. Everything it can do is in the video

@@howtwomusictech871 thanks for trying to help. I give up, I Can't see no way to go from one patch to the preselected. I will send it back to the dealer and purchase something more simple like a pod express. Its a pity because no drum pattern and the zoom sounded really Ok to my ear, but I must be too old now.

@@alvaroolivares2880 Thanks- but my question isn't about the amplifier at the end; I meant whether the signal from the guitar needs to be amplified for the Zoom to work- or if s cab simulator or amp is needed as an input? Or if I can plug my guitar into the 70CDR, and into a amplifier / speaker and if it'll work. Sorry, I'm not very knowledgeable about this, so I don't know the right terms to use.

You can plug in to the MS-70CDR+ and then straight in to an amplifier. That will definitely work for you

Hi, Yes, that is correct. You can have 5 effects in one patch, but only 3 will be visible on the screen. Footswitch 1 corresponds to the effect shown in position 1 on the screen. Footswitch 2 corresponds to the effect shown in position 2 on the screen. Footswitch 3 corresponds to the effect shown in position 3 on the screen. To change which 3 effects of the chain are shown on screen, use the LEFT and RIGHT arrows to scroll through the chain. I hope this helps

Hi, Thank you for your nice comments. At this time there is no R24 Tutorials. But there is a series on the R8 and some things are similar between the 2 units. Hopefully I will manage to get hold of an R24 and do a complete series in the future.
