I don't know about that certified pre owned thing on reverb. But I do you are absolutely correct. Music equipment is pricey as hell and anything you can do to avoid the pitfalls of playing is critically imperative to being a happy musician. Very good point. It's cheaper to take up where someone else left off, than it is to start fresh. I left off guitar because it is impossible to keep equipment dialed in and playable. Spent more money and time on techs and teching instruments than I did playing. Just a waste of time and money. So I said fuck it, I quit.

I wouldn't be able to tell a quality chibson from the real thing just looking at in a parking lot. So true… the wife got me a pedalboard with a power bank and an ac adapter. I got it plugged in to a serge protector with the amps that I can turn everything on with 1 switch and ready to play… for a bit of added “comfort”, I have the final line into the guitar wireless.. (best $30 I ever spent)
