I had the same issue with the clicking sound when going forward and reverse, I took it to Ford and it turns out the axels and the hubs were the root cause of the problem. Ford replaced them both and I got the car back and so far I haven't heard the sound once.

Were you able to figure out a way to pull into your driveway without the splitter hitting? My driveway looks similar and was wondering before buying the rtr splitter.

Yup thankfully! I pull up pretty much parallel to the middle of the driveway and then turn the wheel all the way to the right and creep up. Lol just makes it! 😂

The best exhaust I've ever heard on one of these is a single 3-in exhaust with a straight through Muffler.

First thing you got tired of the mustang because it was automatic,and you get another automatic car big mistake, second you said the mustang v8 has no response and the GLI is not gonna be better, I raced friends GLI with my JCW and left him behind by a whole car gap both stocks... I think there is better options out there better than the GLI plus it is 40k if that is not markup I don't know what it is..

Sorry man but it’s clear you are not familiar with these cars at all! First, I bought a GTI not a GLI. The low end response of a smaller turbo engine is better in the GTI than the GT was. But the GT of course has a lot more power and top end performance. For me it was about getting what I wanted not what others want.

Absolutely HAAAAATE that dealerships put cars through automatic car washes. I once dropped my mustang off at the dealer for something minor (After having a paint correction, polish, ceramic coating, ect) showed up to my car being pulled out of the carwash with the brushes! My stang is black too so all the scratches are so visible. I lost my mind on the guy and told them the importance of asking people beforehand. Most non car people don’t care but the people who do care really do!

I payed around $1350 for the hood, headlights and front bumper. So 2k for fenders and mirrors sounds about right

Dude it wasn’t just content, I really thought I would enjoy the GT but ended up not liking it as much as I thought. Still had a good time with it. I have a passion for cars in general not just one specific car of a specific brand. Honestly I’m loving the GTI! Enjoy the stang

Love your build, I actually plan to get a Moonstone Grey SE as well, I'm between the SE and the Autobahn, not entirely sure yet. Do you plan to go through the pricing you got? I am interested in what you got your GTI for, did you trade the GT in? Or just sell the GT?

Yeah I was in the same boat, I drove both the autobahn and the se and ultimately went SE. i don’t plan on making a video going in depth of what I payed but I think I payed 36 for my SE which I thought was a decent deal. I did trade in my mustang so that helped for sure!

This is wild watching this video because I am in the exact same boat as you, I traded in a MK7 GTI (not even tuned) for the 24 GT, and after a couple of months, I just don't love the car as much as I thought I would, I miss my creature comforts of the GTI like the DCT, 25+ MPG, 4 doors, more space, etc. Call me boring but I love the DCTs of the GTIs, I love my manual in the Mustang but man the sound of the DCTs ripping through gears was so fun. I'm shopping around and plan to pick up a 24 GTI sometime in the coming months, from what I've read, it seems like the MK8.5s will be dropping into the states sometime in the next couple of months, so I am hoping I can leverage that with getting a better deal on a MK8 so I can get an SE or Autobahn and stick with the nice tech upgrades that my Premium GT has. Either way, super dope you went with a GTI, will be watching your series with this for sure!
