Yours is the only video I've seen that actually used the green stickers. What about the little tiny holes, two on each side of the larger holes? Shouldn't they also be covered?
@EverydayComfort-12 сағат бұрын
@TSunshineful the tiny holes are for the sticks that come with the mufga unit. It's to steady heavier plants as they grow like cucumbers for example. I haven't seen those covered and it hasn't affected my plants at all.

How did your plants do so far? You're a newbie like me. In my second year of growing, I followed these tips: 1. Always presoak your sponges for 5-10 minutes to make sure they bring nutrients into plant. 2. I presoak seeds (except really tiny ones) for 8-10 hours. Speeds up germination. 3. I cover the small holes for stakes if I'm not using them, and that's to keep the light from creating mold below into the tank. 4. I pick up the top unit to check the roots and make sure it's not inhibiting the pump because it could break on you. 5. I found that cutting back the roots a little when they're too long helps and doesn't kill the plant. 5. Helps with growth. My little sacrifice experiment did the job. 🤪😃 6. I use purified water and never tap. I did find it at some point, If the plant gets too big, then it gets potted. 7. I add water to fertilizer one day ahead so nutrients dissolve better when you go to shake it. I keep it covered so light doesn't comprimise the solutions with tin foil. I have a different hydrophonic growing system a 4 liter. I found all rules apply to any of them to get them germinating well. I'm always looking for tips to help me grow things better and easier I'm sharing mine. This year, I'm starting a few veggies and can't wait always with excitement to see how it goes. From one newbie to another happy gardening! 🙂

@margaritaapicella2537 Hi! Yes, I am a newbie. Two things that didn't grow for me was tomatoes and stevia. I am currently starting tiny tim tomatoes now to hopefully get some this summer. Thanks for sharing!
@margaritaapicella253712 күн бұрын
@EverydayComfort-1 You're welcome. Yes, go for the tiny tims. Stevie, I know nothing about it. I had seen a gentleman growing Tiny Tim tomatoes on KZbin. He had a similar hydroponic system, and it looked like yours. They were in there growing, and he had harvested from his unit. That's what I'm looking to do. I want to harvest while I'm growing. The last time I grew herbs, I was harvesting right off my system in my kitchen. It was great. In my area, I can't find the Tiny Tim tomatoes. I have to order them. Let me know how the tips are helping you. Would love to see your Tiny Tim tomatoes growing in your system on KZbin. Happy germinating!
