I feel you on a lot of the points you made. There’s nothing wrong with starting over it really is just hair, It will grow back. I encourage you to try Freeforming if you start over it’s a whole different type of dread journey that teaches you even more about yourself and others through the journey. If you’re worried about looking presentable I’d suggest you separate your freeforms often and don’t let them get tooooo thick.

yo your taper is fire gang next time dont knock the front tape down so low use either a 1.5 or a 2 guard for the front taper and itll be alot darker and crisp just give it a try

most they don’t even know all the hair u combed/picked out can be crotched into more dreads 😭

The hair on top of my haid is like 2,5 inches but the hair on the side and back of my haid is like 1 inch. I haven't been to the barber for 2 months because i want to grow out my hair for braids, so i dont have a taper. Should I restart or can i grow out my undercut?
