I was pretty set on getting the 1010 model, and this video made me a lot more comfortable with shelling out that amount of money. I can deal with all of the minor, negative issues. It still seems with it. Especially if you get it for a decent discount.

Work smarter, not harder. This is the way for O/O. You're already beating up your used tractor. I'm not sure if I buy the 1160 miles, but more than likely most of your audience doesn't know different.
@ClutchTrucker3 күн бұрын
The 1160 is from Cheyenne. To the pickup. Then delivery. I always count All miles

Clutch I agree with everything u say but 4000 miles in a week is kinda unbelievable can u explain how u did that with the miles because unless your truck does 85mph at a consisted speed I can't see how that's possible but u have been doing this longer then me so maybe there's something I don't know that's ..ps love Rusty
@ClutchTrucker3 күн бұрын
Across South Dakota. Speed limit is 80mph. Minnesota 70 mph. Iowa 70, and nebraska 75. That’s how on this loop

4,000 over seven full days is only 571 miles per day. Very possible on ELogs. Less than 11 hours of driving per day

Still. A lot of miles. But remember. Monday morning through Sunday night. Is 7 full days

4k miles? I literally just drove across the country, including the wild fires at I-84 at the Idaho/Oregon border, forcing me on US-20 which added some miles. How'd you do that? I didn't come close to 4k miles
@ClutchTrucker3 күн бұрын
Seven full days is only 571 miles per day on average. It’s possible. But only in the west with high speed limits and less traffic

That's a lot miles driver!! I have followed your channel since I came across your video on the Garmin 1010..I ponied up the cash for the 810.. Love it. I'm fortunate enough to only run 5 days a week and have home time for the other 2.. And make the right kind of scratch. At 51, I don't think I could run that hard anymore. 4000 miles is impressive. Be safe out there!

Glad your week is going good, BUT, at some point if you do not enjoy life, it will be over. I know a lady that runs every other week from Waterloo IA to Billings MT, returns mty and is doing fine. The more you make the more taxes you will have to pay. Think long term survival with a quality of life, but in business you have to make hay while the sun shines....

Hi clutch how is the fuel mileage so far on the truck compared to the old one?
@ClutchTrucker3 күн бұрын
Much better. Averaging 7 easy. Old truck was averaging 5. So the extra mileage pays the monthly payment. Plus brings more scratch home
