Looks nice. It can perform on bigger radius? 500mm? 780? Also in vertical position?

sure! Even when this type of cobot is too small, there are also bigger ones and they can be mounted upside down from the top. ;)

Most people forget what the word and the original intension of cobotics was meant to address. Assistive cooperative robotics. Aid in manual labour. This and many other examples of cobotics is really a narrowed vision of what real cobotics can be. setting up a robot to do repetitive work is not the full scope of the definition of cobotics.

i am thinking in bring some of this in space to start build my hotel up there. with that no need argon gas. Hey this one can clone movement? or take instruction ffrom another robot? Automatization is so powerful. ok the demostration in this video is not full automatic is more assist but is perfect when make prototype and need high-quality welding.

There is really no such thing as "full automatic" robotic movement. Everything has to be taught, to one degree or another. You can use cameras and sensors to measure pieces and move positions around in space, but robots still have to be taught what to do. We haven't gotten to Tony Stark level yet.

furonius welders are the worst. They have to many parts and cost too much money to maintain for large production scale projects. I feel like Millers are less parts more durable and break down far less then Furonius welders.

and this is safe , how?. faster programming with a industrial robot at 2/3rd the price
@fskindustries
@fskindustries 3 жыл бұрын
Hey Paul, it's safe because it has a whole safety housing and the robot is just starting it's movements, when the safety housing is closed, or the manual safety switch is pressed. Programming or let's better call it teaching is way faster compared to industrial robot teaching. (We sell both, they just have different advantages...) the price is a bit cheaper compared to the industrial robot solution. Disadvantages: robot size, robot speed Advantages: way faster teaching, more flexible, teaching without programming I hope that helped for the general understanding and if you like to know more: www.fsk-industries.de Have a good day and stay safe!

Thats right. For rough positioning it's great. To reach with high accuracy it's not the easiest and best way. Therefore we developed the fsk assistance modes. LinDrive for force guided linear movements and RotDrive for force guided rotary movements. With that it's easy and accurate!

Seems to me a lot of the cobots (arms) look very similar and I know Rethink Robotics failed, but still seems to me the specialization is mostly in the software ? Especially if the hardware prices go down and are sold in modular form (which I assume they are)
@fskindustries

You're right that most of the videos are including an Universal Robot, because it's the biggest Brand on the cobot market. Like you pointed out the biggest differences between the solutions is the software and in our case in combination with our SAEP (SmartArc Extension Pack) which helps you to teach the robot faster and more comfortable.

@@marcospagnoli1379 maybe I'm reading the market wrong, but they were one of the first in the market, but others have a far larger market share with cheaper products that are similar in function and durability.

@@marcospagnoli1379 the company Rethink Robotics came out with Baxter, the human(ish) looking robot. It has not been very popular by any stretch of the imagination. Universal Robotics has taken the COBOT world by storm.
