Not bad at all. In fact the super nice option makes the sound more transparent even at an extreme threshold of -15dB. There's little pumping going on despite the fact that the original dry recording is a bit hot.

Dope vid! How is your TC setup as far as input, outputs, and clocking? I just got mine a few weeks ago and I am trying to figure out how this works.

Love how you broke down the options between the Neumann TLM, Deity, Electro Voice, Tank 3, and Rode lav mics! It’s so helpful to see real recommendations for different setups, especially when podcasting has so many mic options out there. Thinking of trying the Electro Voice. Would you say it’s the best bang for the buck? This was super insightful and I appreciate the no nonsense approach!
@RenneMeejah9 күн бұрын
I think the Electro Voice is a great choice, especially for the price!

These are some great sounding EQs. The bad connotation is literally only up to one person with a KZbin channel purposefully trying to make a product sound bad which is very easy to do with ANY equalizer lol that guy barely makes any mixes worth noting let alone somehow not embarrassing to post to the world on the Internet. The only reason he is recognizable and has any pull is the longevity he's been making content. I'll tell you right now I could buy a full on SSL console and make it sound absolutely horrible if I wanted to try to discredit it. That guy who trashed this EQ is nothing but a shill unfortunately. Bottom line is, if you know how to use an EQ, it will do great for you! And at the end of the day and EQ is an EQ. It's your bad if you sound bad - end of story .

I love your mastering decisions. You are easy to follow. But offcourse that doesn't mean everyone has your skill. I subbed. Greetings from the Netherlands.
@FransvandenBergeMuziekschuur11 күн бұрын
@@RenneMeejah I assume some 1176's paired and this EQ will get you a nice mastering rig. The mastering rig I found in the Galaxy studios in Mol Belgium was a SPL passive EQ and a mastering compressor. But once you start there you might better 'fix the mix'. Maybe a digital EQ behind your current chain (to set a notch) might fix it better.
