3 seconds in and you already managed 2 errors. Passkeys are neither easiest nor most secure. You don't deserve a third strike. You lied about the first two, so two strikes, you're out!

Our statement was not a deception or intention to mislead, instead it's our opinion based on what other security experts in the field are saying about both the ease of use and security of passkeys. We can agree to disagree, but lets always be kind.

You and I basically through the same search process starting with ConvertPlayer for the same need for webinars. I'm hoping this will work for LinkedIn postings and LinkedIn Events. If you are interested I found you via Google by searching "javascript form tool to overlay a video and gate" - I know nothing about coding. Thank you very much. I'm heading over to iThemes to find out what you do.

Wow this is an exceptional webinar. Thank you so much! A few things in Cloudflare have changed since it's publication, but it's not too hard to figure out. I am a little confused by the good bots list in the WAF section. IPinfo says AS1477 is for USAISC and AS46475 is for Limestone Networks. Do we need to allow those two? I'm not familiar with them.

Question: Changing Secret Keys will log everyone out. And that will kill any authentication cookies, right? If that is the case, is there any downside to automatically changing Secret Keys every 24 hours - instead of teaching, and failing, your uses to log out?

Looking for a quick answer, I don't want to watch an hour long video: I saw in my WP dashboard that iThemes will become SolidWP Will my subscription of iThemes Security Pro switch over automatically to SolidWP? Are there any extra costs?

Thanks for this very helpful video. I'm on Win11 and had already configured one passkey with Win Hello using the iThemes plug-in on my website. I'm considering switching to 1Password from LastPass because they support passkeys, and I worry that if my PC were stolen or the hard drive failed, that I'd lose my keys. It's not clear how I'd transfer these keys to a new PC when I get one someday. My question to Timothy is that I have a 6-digit "Hello PIN" to log into my PC each morning. This is used to use a passkey too. So if someone broke into my house and stole my PC, if they managed to figure out my PIN, now I'm back to an extremely weak 6-digit (not even 6-character) "password". Doesn't that just invalidate the security around passkeys? How do I make it secure?

Thanks for the tutorial! The "good bots" firewall rule is fine. But I see some google bots in the "other bots" events log is that supposed to be happening? I understand the idea to go straight to 8.1, but after spending an hour on testing 8.1 and getting blank pages, switching to 8.0 the site responded well. So I recommend that people see if there is a 8-8.1 issue before wasting too much time on a site that is awaiting a single plugin. Better to get off 7.x regardless

If you have a group of multiple users using the same pre-defined login details. Is there an option to add biometric login for each user on their own devices such as mobiles so they can use fingerprint or face login

0:20 On my website, there is no admin menu under the security logo, and I cannot see the installed iThemes Security Pro pictures anywhere here, so this video is useless for me :(

Hi there. In the video, they mention "Admin menu" to mean the WordPress admin area, so you should click on "Security" in your WP admin. But it's not clear to me whether you're using our free security plugin or the Pro version. This video is about the Pro version. @@iThemesWPTutorials hi, thanks for your quick answer. I bought iThemes Security Pro. Im my WP Security menu, there is Dashboard, Settings, User Accounts, User Login, etc. But no admin area. Am I at the wrong place? I'm not an IP expert, sorry.

@@emzeperix007 When you first login to your WP website and arrive at the WordPress Dashboard, you should see in the left-hand menu towards the bottom a menu item called "Security". When you hover over that, you should see sub-menu items including our Security Dashboard. Here's a screenshot. i.imgur.com/5iqVIIA.png

Both these products are really cool. Currently I’m looking into building my own assets cloud site. 23:50 Wondering if Kadence Cloud works with other products such as GenerateBlocks? I’ve got a handful of dev years invested in the GeneratePress ecosystem.
