I had to Google you. Discovered that you won first place in a Hamilton, Ontario International guitar competition. I studied classical guitar in Hamilton, with a wonderful teacher, Gabrielle Kish. She was a stickler for technique and wrote an essential book on guitar technique, Scales and Studies for Guitar, which takes you from basic scales to advanced scales, arpeggios and chord progressions. Its out of print now, but you can still find it online. Are you teaching now? Kish's contribution would benefit any student.

I have heard of her name but not the book! Will have to look it up. I am teaching at a community music school currently, yes! Thank you for the recommendation.

Aah. This is how it should be played. Confident, brave and yet with gentility fitting its title. This is masterful guitar playing. A pleasure to experience. Do I hear a hint of playful mischief here and there? This interpretation oozes character.
