Amazing a "66 year old" stove, the outer looked like a tin can yet it didn't have a single rust hole in it. I would have thought that with something so thin and so old the bottom would have burnt out at the least, yet it wasn't even deformed with the heat of the fire. The colour scheme left nothing to be desired.

Sorry but I did not like the restoration or finished colour.

Not stripped and cleaned down enough first for me. Probably needed dipping too before painting.

If this was sent by a subscriber, you'd have thought he would have emptied the ash pan first.

Nice cleanup - but you SHOULD have used Stove paint, and just SEASONED the interior parts with oil - as soon as you light a fire - it will burn off the paint - and possibly give off TOXIC Fumes.

The restoration could have been done better and more accurately, but instead it was done hastily
