In 470 you can pump if the pumping flag is up.

I have very good memories from my past sailing 470, 50 years younger and 20 kg lighter. Today I need a bigger class and have some options in mind.

Today, the yacht clubs are full of boats which move only one or two times a year. 470 races were a nice time.

I was enthralled to see this video of 470 sailing class action and am most grateful such material is available over the internet. I would regard aerobic conditioning as one of the most important things a person could do as I regard without healthy heart and lungs a person really only a healthy vegetable. I don't regard such thing as young at heart, as if conservative about your body you'll live longer. New age equals death.

I am very appreciative that there are such videos available, it makes a dramatic improvement from such a time as the 1970's when of course nothing such was available. I once sailed 420 and Mirror Dinghy at the time I mentioned and can probably even though I am 54yo can still do the same today, even a 49'r class dinghy if need be. It pays to have a proper aerobic exercise program and do exactly what the mainstream Doctors say. My name is Timothy Quinlivan from Perth, Australia.
