Does it articulate? I couldn’t tell by watching the video. I’d love to have this figure but articulation would make it the best possible…

good back in time video bro ha, ha, you had me for a second, as I thought that there were a new ape line coming out ouh, those sure bring memories, I m a 69 model, did nt had much mileage then, D these 8' dolls had serious action issues, like, only 5 point articulation, stiff as a corpse could nt grab weapons very good, were light as cheap crap dolls and, clearly, failed to show the potential of their product... as, the sets were awesome in design, buy many, and savantly place them with minimum other deco and you have a pretty convincing ape village, that look very close to the tv or movies but just see one individually, and it does nt show the real potential they needed 2 pics, 1 set, and one village with this same set, + as much figs as it fits, crowded, packed almost whoo, I did nt remember all the products available, the army kit is very nice if you get 4+ it all look so retro thunderbirds charming now, ha, ha the tv show maaan, Urko WAS the show! ok bro, you have to indulge... check here on u tube ; Urko s control video... it s sums it aaaaall up. I cracked up looking at this video, ha, ha man, this serie, it was always about how Urko was primitive, aggressive, stuck up, the worst in humans, ha, ha! this character has corrected many stupid guys that acted like... apes, lol mmm, the late figures have much improved, have wrists and ankles, ok wow, the recent figs look fab, the actors s likeness is dead on I m packed here with Joes - legends dioramas, it s a small place otherwise, in a house, I d be tempted with a dio of classic apes, vehicles, ruins, village, I d arrange something so now you know... good show bro

It appears that your Custer had a Spenser carbine--a seven-shot repeating firearm used in small numbers by Union cavalry during the Civil War en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spencer_repeating_rifle I do speculate that Marx made its Johnny West figures 12" because that was how tall Mattel made Barbie. Six inches would have been more practical--but I don't know everything about the toy industry of the late 1960's. Thanks for sharing your treasures.

Unfortunately, the studio and producers decided to go for a "2001 A Space Odyssey" approach which was antithetical to the formula Star Trek the TV series had used to become a cult hit. ST:TMP was cold and distant, foregoing the warmth, camaraderie and humor which complemented the weekly "morality story" episodes. To this day, I find TMP the least enjoyable of all the TOS cast movies. That is not to say TMP isn't a good movie. It just the least "Star Trek-like" movie of the TOS era.

Wait till you try and glue that thing together. I built this kit recently. NOTHING fit correctly. It took a lot of fillers and heavy primers to get some semblance of fitment. Also, the decals disintegrated as soon as they hit water. Either find some after-market decals or spray them with a sealer so they don't fall apart.
