Excellent. I say that you obtained the answer by adding and not subtracting. What's my point. Bodmas and pemdas are outdated. Use pema or boma by changing ÷ to × and inverting. Hope this helps . Thanks

Bodmas is fake. There no subtraction. Try BOMA by inverting D to M. Also 5-2 = 3 by addition not subtraction. Monkey see monkey do.Thanks

Cool, but wouldn't it be easier to do it this way? 3(x + 5) = 30 x + 5 = 30 / 3 x + 5 = 10 x = 5
